The 10 most popular Instagram Pictures of 2015

Instagram released the list of the most liked photos of 2015 and it features a crop of the biggest young stars today! On the list, Taylor Swift had the highest overall increase in followers, going up over 73% to where she now has about 64 million followers on the photo-sharing app…crazy right?

Here are the top 10 most-liked instagram pictures of 2015. Really, ladies just run the world in their own beautiful way…don’t they??

10. Kendall Jenner

Model and stepsister to Kim Kardashian Kendall Jenner has 47 million Instagram followers with an artistic selfie early in the year, the 10th most popular picture on the photo sharing platform.

9. Taylor Swift

 Pop superstar Taylor Swift shared a picture of herself snuggled up with one of her two cats, Meredith.

Taylor's back, this time with a grumpy-looking Meredith, clocking up more than 2.4 million likes.

7. Selena Gomez

Singer and actress Selena Gomez's selfie taken in a car wearing a comfy shirt was the seventh most-liked picture of the year. Real cute.

Taylor's third entry in the top 10 sees her playing with one of the cats in her New York apartment. She apparently can't get over her cats.                                                                                                                          

5. Beyoncé and Blue Ivy

Singer Beyoncé's picture of her and her daughter Blue Ivy was 2015's fifth most popular Instagram image. Adorable I'd say.

4. Kylie Jenner

Sister of Kendall, and another of the extended Kardashian clan, Kylie Jenner shared a photo of her high school graduation diploma certificate in July 2015. Hmm..Kylie of life!

3. Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris

Taylor's shot of her piggybacking on DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris over the 4th of July weekend was the year's third most popular picture, with over 2.5m likes.

Taylor's final entry in the top 10 comes courtesy of Kanye West, after the rapper sent her an enormous block of flowers. Kanye never ceases to amaze though. Cool one anyways.

And the honour of most popular Instagram picture of the year goes to Kendall Jenner, whose heart-shaped hair design image became the most liked shot ever on the platform, with over 3.2 million likes. You just gotta love it. Beautiful shot.

Overall, it was obviously all about Taylor last year. But who's gonna rock this year??? We have to wait and see...*winks*
