Paris Saint-Germain football club are not resting on their laurels and are actually building something remarkable, with the Champions league supposed to be their ultimate target now. And they should achieve that sooner or later I believe. They have been excellent so far this season, both domestic and abroad. They have broken and created new records over the entire course of the season that is even yet to be over. This has truly been the most dominant of campaigns ever; sitting on top of the table since the second league week till date and losing only one game in the process.
PSG's title success is the quickest ever in any of the Europe's five big leagues, claiming the title after just 30 out of 38 matches, beating Bayern Munich's 2013/2014 record by 12 days in the process.
They boasted a new record unbeaten run in the top flight of 36 games, and are on course to better their record of 27 league wins in a single season.
They also secured a new club record win to clinch the title by beating Troyes 9-0.
What a stunning way to defend their crown! Well deserved and congratulations to them. The Moneybags are marching on!
